In the late phase, Philipps called all of its reproduction and artisan upright pianos "Pianella" and specified the respective design with an appended abbreviation. This is a rare Pianella "D" (DUCA) reproduction piano in good condition. However, due to normal ageing, even this instrument needs to be renovated before it will play as beautifully as it used to.
