Dieses Roland Digitalpiano wurde bei uns als Ausstellungsinstrument genutzt. Es wurde wenig bespielt und ist sehr gut erhalten. Es war seinerzeit das beste dieser Baureihe in 2015, ein Vorläufer des heutigen LX-9. Es hat viele Aspekte, die einem akustischen Piano möglichst nahe kommen sollen, so z.B. die sogenannte SuperNATURAL Piano Tonerzeugung, die Dynamic Harmonic Funktion für einen noch größeren Dynamik Umfang, eine feinauflösende Sensorik für die Anschlagsdynamik, sowie einen 3D Ambience Effekt, der auch bei Verwendung eines Kopfhörers ein räumliches Klangbild erzeugt. Die integrierte Aufnahmefunktion und Apps für Apple iOS-Geräte sowie die WiFi Konnektivität ermöglichen viele weitere Möglichkeiten. Der Gründer des Unternehmens Roland gilt als Erfinder des Midi Standards und Wegbereiter der modernen Digitalpianos.
