Very rare to find are these late Philipps DUCARTIST pianos, which can play DUCARTIST and 88 standard rolls. This grand was delivered from Feurich to Philipps in Frankfurt on 07.05.1924. Apparently, the grand used to have a pedal device for foot operation as well. The castor mount was adapted for DUCA castors during the renovation done a few years ago, so the grand piano now plays DUCA castors as well. The blower rest was obviously taken from a Welte grand. The surface was amateurishly refinished. The acoustic grand was partially renovated (new stringing...). Nevertheless, a very valuable instrument that will play and sound splendidly again after a necessary renovation.
