These late Philipps DUCARTIST grand pianos, which can play DUCARTIST and 88th standard rolls, are very rare to find. This grand piano was delivered from Feurich to Philipps in Frankfurt on May 7, 1924. Apparently, the grand piano also used to have a pedal device for foot operation. The roll holder was adapted for DUCA rolls in the course of the renovation carried out a few years ago, so that the grand piano now also plays DUCA rolls. The pump box was obviously taken over from a Welte grand piano. The surface was amateurishly reworked. The acoustic grand piano was partially renovated (new stringing...). Nevertheless, a very valuable instrument that will play and sound splendid again after a necessary renovation.
