The Aeolian Pianola not only gave its name to the self-playing piano, but was also the worldwide market leader for many years. This magnificent Ibach grand piano with 88-key Aeolian Themodist Metrostyle Pianola is probably one of the most magnificent instruments of its kind with this powerful Ibach three-legged design. The grand piano was sent by Ibach to Steck in Gotha on June 21, 1921 for the installation of the Aeolian mechanism. It was probably renovated in the 1990s on behalf of the previous owner. It needs at least one overhaul to be usable again. There are thousands of music titles for the '88 Pianola from all musical genres up to the 2000s.
