A specialty of the Frankfurt manufacturer were the automatic roll changer systems, called 'revolver mechanism' in the product catalog. The music rolls have a brass rod worked into the canvas at the beginning, which can be hooked into the mechanism - and then automatically hung in/out and changed. This is an extremely rare Pianella "D" (DUCA) reproduction piano with 5-fold changer in very good original condition. We know of no other instrument of this type. A rarity for any collector or museum.
