Pleyel has published a very large repertoire of music rolls for its own pianola 'Pleyela'. A distinction was made between 'métronomique' (drawn rolls) and 'enregistreé' (hand-recorded rolls comparable, for example, with the Hupfeld Phonola or Animatic artist rolls). Many important pianists have recorded music here, e.g. Alfred Casella, Cécile Chaminade, Alfred Cortot, Claude Debussy, Enrique Granados, Raoul de Koczalski, Raoul Pugno, Igor Stravinsky, and many others. This is a thin supplement catalog No 12 (ca. 1918, there is no indication in the catalog) presumably to the general catalog from 1914, which contains more Enregistreé rolls. This catalog has 7 pages. The rolls could be ordered as 65 or 88 (surcharge 1 Franc). We offer a pdf copy of this rare catalog for research for EUR 20,00. If you are interested, please send us a request..
