Dies ist eines der letzten vor dem ersten Weltkrieg gebauten Steinway-Welte Klaviere. Es wurde am 4.7.1914 von Steinway an Welte geliefert. Das Piano ist gut erhalten und kann nach der Renovierung weitere Jahrzehnte Freude bereiten. Dieses Steinway-Welte Piano stammt aus dem Besitz von Cosmus Schindler und stand nach Auskunft des Vorbesitzers sowie einzelnen Unterlagen zum Piano in der berühmten Villa Leuchtenberg (Bodensee, Lindau). Ursprünglich war eine beeindruckende Welte Notenrollensammlung von ca. 260 Rollen bei diesem Instrument – diese wurde jedoch anderweitig verkauft.
