Pleyel has published a very large repertoire of music rolls for its own pianola 'Pleyela'. A distinction was made between 'métronomique' (drawn rolls) and 'enregistreé' (hand-recorded rolls comparable, for example, with the Hupfeld Phonola or Animatic artist rolls). Many important pianists have recorded music here, e.g. Alfred Casella, Cécile Chaminade, Alfred Cortot, Claude Debussy, Enrique Granados, Raoul de Koczalski, Raoul Pugno, Igor Stravinsky, and many others. This catalog for Pleyela rolls 'enregistreé' has about 175 pages with 65 notes, sorted by composer. It also lists which roles are provided with vocal text, which at that time cost an additional one franc per role. We offer a pdf copy of this rare catalog for research purposes for EUR 50,00.
