This is one of the first concert grand pianos by Steingraeber & Soehne from Bayreuth in the new design with the strikingly large soundboard and almost angular rear, which gives the basses in particular a huge volume. It was completed in March 1911 and sent to the Steingraeber & Söhne branch at Theatinerstr. 35 in Munich. A few years ago it was partially overhauled at Steingraeber and was owned by a pianist until the end, who also recorded a CD with it. A great instrument.
