Hugo Popper played a major role in the success of the Welte-Mignon. When the business relationship between Welte and Popper ended, Popper brought the Popper Welt Piano 'Stella' onto the market at the same time in 1908. A reproduction instrument with an extremely high technical similarity to the Welte piano - but better constructed in many parts. This Popper Stella instrument is extremely rare, as only very few Stellas were sold. It was technically restored in 2020 - it is now probably the only renovated Stella piano in the world. Due to the similarity of the music rolls, it is possible for us to transfer all Welte-Mignon titles for this piano as well.
