Berdux is one of those brands that is almost forgotten today—yet at the time it was among the leading manufacturers in Europe. These instruments were built in Munich, on Landsberger Street. The Berdux grands and uprights from this era were known for their outstanding craftsmanship and tone. This small grand piano has remained largely original, with signs of age and use, and it still has an impressive sound. Berdux used an especially large soundboard, which makes this richness of tone possible. The piano requires restoration in order to regain its full quality.
