Heinr. Knauss Söhne (Coblenz) is a piano manufacturer known only to connoisseurs today. Nevertheless, every piano expert confirms the high quality of these instruments. However, to find a completely original concert grand piano from this manufacturer is a great stroke of luck. Especially as this grand piano is also particularly beautifully designed. Technically, the grand piano is reminiscent of a cross between Schiedmayer & Söhne and Blüthner - an interesting mixture - and a beautiful grand piano. According to the previous owner, this instrument came from the estate of G. Ungeheuer, a well-known actor in Germany. After an overhaul, the grand piano would be perfectly usable - however, a complete restoration would be recommended.
