This beautiful Steinway & Sons B grand piano is a rare rarity - completely original, from many years of private ownership, very well cared for. Even though normal signs of ageing have taken away some of the brilliance and radiance of this grand piano, it is still a great pleasure to play and listen to it. It has the typical Steinway character of the period and shows what Steinway & Sons was rightly praised for at the time. The action and keyboard were serviced by a master piano maker. Giacomo Puccini composed his great works on exactly the same model (SerNo 98606, built in 1900). His grand piano is in Lucca (Tuscany, Italy) in the house where he was born.
