In the early 1880s, Racca (Italy) launched the Piano Melodico. This smaller tabletop version was probably built by Späthe in Gera. Unfortunately, the serial number 2889 cannot be dated. The instrument is in its original condition and has not been restored. The original wooden shipping crate with the Piano Melodico imprint is rare, as is the beautiful selection of music books for this instrument.
