The Gesellschaft für Selbstspielende Musikinstrumente e.V. publishes a quarterly journal called Das Mechanische Musikinstrument. Although the majority of articles are about barrel organs, music boxes etc., there are also interesting articles about pianolas. This journal is sent to members of the association - but you can also purchase the titles individually or on CD with pdf-files. Especially some of the older issues are very interesting.
