Dieses prächtige Artcase C. Bechstein Piano Mod 9 wurde am 25.12.1905 in Berlin fertiggestellt und an die Bechstein Filiale in London ausgeliefert. Das Design mit den auffälligen Beschlägen und Kerzenhaltern ist speziell für den Englischen Markt gebaut worden. Das Design, ‚Arts and Crafts‘ stammt vom Architekten Walter Cave (1863-1939). Bernhard Shaw soll zwei dieser Pianos besessen haben. Dieses Piano wurde vor vielen Jahren bereits einmal teilrenoviert, benötigt jedoch eine neuerliche Restauration, um wieder voll einsetzbar zu sein.
