Der Vorsetzer ist mit normalen Alterungs- und Nutzungsspuren gut erhalten und spielt sogar noch etwas, obwohl in den letzten über 110 Jahren -wie so oft- auch einmal Motten und Mäuse im Instrument waren. Nach einer kompletten Restauration wäre er wieder voll nutzbar.
