A very rare instrument is this Artcase V. Gevaert autopiano grand piano. It can be used as a hand-playing grand piano, as well as for the automatic playing of corresponding music rolls with additional punchings (e.g. from S.M., Empeco, or Kästner) for controlling the autopiano mechanism. The grand piano is in original condition with the usual signs of age and use - the electric motor is missing. The instrument needs a complete renovation in order to play well again. We know of no other grand piano of this type.
