Even a well-maintained grand piano will accumulate dust underneath the strings on the soundboard. Cleaning this is difficult - and quickly causes scratches in the sensitive soundboard varnish. We offer a special soundboard cleaning set (3-piece) from specialist retailers. Three flexible metal rods (brass) - a handle at the top, covered with red cashmere at the lower end - with which the various areas can be reached through the stringing. A spare strip of cashmere is included in the set. This makes it easy to reach almost every spot on the soundboard and catch the dust. Loose dust can then be easily removed with a vacuum cleaner. We have been using these sets for a long time and are very satisfied with their handling and durability.
