This Ibach grand piano was sent to M. Welte & Söhne in Freiburg on September 9, 1920. The acoustic piano was renovated around 1985. The Welte mechanism, including the pump box, was renovated in several stages until the end of the 1990s. R. Hagemann owned this piano for over 40 years and published an article on Welte technology in DMM080 based on numerous measurements on this piano. It is beautifully preserved and a wonderful instrument.
