Ampico B is the last and best stage of development of reproduction instruments before WWII. Numerous pianists have recorded only for this system - most notably, Sergei Rachmaninov. These instruments are extremely rare to find in general, and in Europe in particular. On our YouTube channel we have sound samples of this grand piano. This Haines Brothers Ampico B Symphonique Artcase grand piano with matching grand bench was restored in the late 1990s by the leading pianola expert in the USA. In 2015-2017 we performed overhaul work on the grand piano. In 2021 the acoustics and action were restored again due to drying damage caused by the previous owners lack of necessary humidity. The Ampico music roll repertoire offers a huge selection of classical and American dance music.
