Ibach dedicated the grand salon grand model to Richard Strauss in 1923 and documented this with the magnificent name on the cast frame. This very rarely found Ibach grand piano model corresponds in length to the Steinway B or Blüthner Model 4 and is very impressive in sound. According to archival information, this grand was completed on 4/20/1925, and is in overall good condition with normal signs of age and use. It still plays very nicely. The shellac finish would need to be polished to taste. It would reach its full potential after a restoration, which we offer upon request.
