This rare concert grand is from the late heyday of piano making - the Model 1 by J. Blüthner from 1923. This grand has seen a lot. It has a fixed carriage, indicating that it was in concert or school use during its career. The cast iron frame reads 115674, this is probably an incorrectly applied number after a refurbishment. Construction and serial numbers inside confirm 105674. After a complete restoration is required, this will be another dream instrument. Curiously, this Blüthner grand stands on old Steinway & Sons legs - a rare combination for sure. In the course of the restoration, original legs Lyra will be made for this grand piano.
