In the 1910's these instruments had their heyday in the USA - the coin insertion of a 'nickel' (25Cent) made a piece of music sound, hence the name 'Nickelodeon'. This beautiful piano needs restoration to play and sound as magnificent as it did back then. The music rolls for this Nickelodeon contains 10 different pieces of music, so it will not get bored quickly with coin-operated. There are numerous arranged rolls for this Nickelodeon instruments with great titles v.a. from the American dance music of the time.
