Concert grands from the Golden Era are our speciality. Here is an example of a renovation of a 1936 Grotrian-Steinweg orchestra concert grand. The starting point was good - the piano had been used a lot over the decades, but had not been ruined. Normal signs of use and aging could be repaired during the renovation work with normal work. Acoustics, action and surface were completely finished so that the grand piano again looked as splendid as when it was first delivered.

This grand piano model from this period is truly an orchestral instrument - unbelievable volume, many timbres and wonderful to play - ideal as a solo and accompanying instrument. Today this grand piano is located at a bass player's home south of Munich - in a wonderful music room with many professional double bass instruments.
