"Grotrian, Helfferich, Schulz Th. Steinweg Nachf." was the name of the piano manufacturing company taken over by F. Grotrian from Theodor Steinweg in 1865. Theodor Steinweg had moved to the USA to expand the success of Steinway & Sons. This large concert grand Mod I is mostly original and in need of a complete restoration. Clara Schumann performed on this grand piano model. It is one of the most magnificent concert grands from this period.
