Over the decades, we have acquired a collection of rare original catalogues, brochures and documents on the subject of pianos, upright pianos and contemporary history of the golden era, probably unique in this scope. A valuable source of original and detailed information about the manufacturers, owners and musicians of that time. Below you will find some examples of such catalogues and books with original sketches and descriptions of the instruments and partly also with the price and delivery information of that time. With the help of these sources we can also find out important facts in the course of paid research - for example, which original candleholders were once intended for which piano model.

We offer duplicates of these documents for sale, we have high quality copies made to order and offer them with due regard for authorship.

For some documents we provide information on our website in the Fundus section.

We cooperate with collectors, museums, universities and archives, and in some cases we can also access their holdings by arrangement under the respective conditions.

Of course, we are always looking for more original documents and would be pleased if you offer us something - whether as a donation, to the original purchase or the purchase of a good copy - or, in the case of inalienable documents, just for inspection.
